About us

About us

Buzz3DPrint was founded in 2007, as a manufacturer within the events and experiential sector, producing bespoke creations for a multitude of clients and brands across the globe. We have always embraced modern manufacturing technologies, so when demand for installations became more intricate and design led, we quickly invested in CNC machinery, such as CNC routers and laser cutters/engravers.

Our first foray into 3D printing was inspired by the need for small intricate parts to be produced, as a complement to the larger installations we were producing. As 3D printers became larger and faster, we realised that they could take over as a primary construction tool. With our existing knowledge of 3D design and fabrication, it was an easy decision to invest in the latest large format 3D printing technology.

From our extensive knowledge base, we launched Buzz3DPrint as a dedicated
additive manufacturing company supporting multiple industries.

Why Large Format
3D Print?

When 3D printing became mainstream, we were all impressed with the technology, but not so much with the limitations of size and time taken to print objects – often days!

Fast-forward several years and the technology has moved on to the point that large format 3D print has become viable as a disruptive technology, in the manufacture of parts and models within multiple industries, traditionally achieved with multi-axis milling machines, or hand carving.

Our large format 3D printer is an awesome machine with the scale and speed to make it the ‘go to’ option for creating your project.

Our Technology

Introducing the Massivit 1800 PRO, one of the only machines available in the UK. It’s print volume of 1.5m x 1.2m x 1.8m(h), make it capable of printing large scale items in one piece, at an unprecedented speed of up to 35cms
per hour.

It uses Gel Dispensing Printing technology (GDP), a UV cured gel extruded from the print heads and instantly cured with intense UV light. This has huge benefits of massively reducing the support material that is required in most other 3D printing technologies, whilst dramatically reducing print time.

The machine has twin independent print heads, allowing for simultaneous printing of two separate items, further increasing the machine’s already impressive capacity.
